Croisstime's GF

Operation: Timeguard

Gingerbrave and his friends are on a train during the story, and before they can get to their stop, the train comes to a halt. Gingerbrave and his friends are very confused, as they're suddenly told they're under arrest and in a strange place. Gingerbrave manages to run away, but his friends aren't able to and get arrested. However, he meets Croissant, an agent of the TBD. The TBD, or Time Balance Department, who calls him over and lets him escape from everyone chasing him. It turns out, the TBD is convinced that he and his friends have messed with the timeline in some way, but Croissant knows that he's innocent due to seeing his adventures while traveling through timelines on her Timecraft, a time machine she made from a derelict plane. Croissant tells him that the Director of the TBD thinks he's guilty, and nobody doubts them because they can travel through time easily.

Croissant and Gingerbrave go through time and fix anomalies in the timeline in order to try and find the culprit and prove Gingerbrave's innocence. While fixing the timeline anomalies, Croissant's Timecraft is suddenly pulled into a time rift without her input. This causes her to doubt her abilites. In a strange time rift that not even the TBD knows about, they meet a strange cookie. Her name is Timekeeper Cookie, and she's been watching them ever since they set out on their journey.

Timekeeper Cookie is told about their adventures so far, and she mentions wanting Croissant to become like her in the future. Croissanat is happy to try and follow her advice, but Gingerbrave is wary and remarks that "power isn't the answer to everything". Gingerbrave and Croissant continue to fix the timeline, not without some sabotages from Timekeeper, before they reach Yeti's Ice Cream Mountain. Timekeeper removes all of the snow from the timeline in order to solve a problem, which, while making it easier for Gingerbrave and his friends to get across, makes Thundersnow Yeti sad. Despite it being easier, Gingerbrave wants to keep Thundersnow Yeti happy. Timekeeper also reveals that, just like Croissant, she made a Timecraft of her own. After that, Croissant finds Timekeeper again and questions how she knows of the TBD's protocols. Timekeeper doesn't answer the question, but wants Croissant to become the Director. She attempts to persude Croissant into following her advice, but Gingerbrave tells her that she shouldn't do it would be messing with time for her own benefit.

Timekeeper opens a time rift without any TBD equipment and reveals that she's the Director of the TBD. Croissant asks her why she thinks Gingerbrave is guilty, and she merely says that he must be declared guilty, and then she leaves. Croissant and Gingerbrave continue to try and fix the timeline, not without Timekeeper trying to goad Croissant into choosing the "easiest options", even deleting someone from the timeline to try and make her point. Timekeeper kidnaps and gives Gingerbrave the choice of switching out his friends for other cookies, which he refuses. Timekeeper then threatens to kill a child. Croissant comes to save Gingerbrave, and Timekeeper reveals that her and Croissant are technically the same person, just from different timelines. Timekeeper specifies that, as Croissant Cookie, she gained power until things became monotonous to her and she began seeing out timelines where her other selves were, finding our Croissant. The only reason why she framed Gingerbrave was to provide something for Croissant to begin doubtin herself, as she wants Croissant to become the Director like her.

Croissant decides not to become like her, and goes to find Gingerbrave. Timekeeper proposes a bet, if Croissant Cookie can defeat her, she'll let Gingerbrave and his friends go. If she can't, Croissant will have to follow her and become the Director. At first, Croissant tries to change time so that she never joins the TBD, but can't because she sees how happy she was at that time. Croissant Cookie decides to take Timekeeper's advice to become stronger, but still decides to follow her dream of becoming the best mechanic on Earthbread.

I'm sorry, I've gotten through this entire thing without bias, but I just have to speak here. Croissant Cookie says, I am serious. "If our future became(sic) too boring… Then we should work together to stave off that boredom!". Why are they so gay? Timekeeper then frees Gingerbrave and his gang from being arrested, and then Croissant says, and I quote "Timekeeper Cookie. Let’s make something great together, deal?", to which Timekeeper Cookie replies, "It has been a while since I have ever looked forward to something without taking a peek." That's really gay. The event ends with Croissant Cookie waving Gingerbrave and his friends goodbye as they get back on the train, and promising to always do what's right.

Mission: Save the Future

WIP

Interdimensional Super Mayhem

Interdimensional Super Mayhem is the only event in Kingdom so far to focus on the TBD, and it doesn't even entirely focus on the TBD. It instead focuses on a band of interdimensional criminals, their leader being Twizzly Gummy Cookie, causing, well, interdimensional super mayhem, in the Dragon's Valley. Croissant Cookie only appears at the end, and Timekeeper is only mentioned. Croissant appears to arrest Twizzly Gummy and her gang, apologizes for the ruckus, and says her catchprase of "Time travel, woot!" She then leaves.

Croissant Cookie makes an appearance in the Holiday Cake Shop update as well, but all she does is get hit in the face with cake and then Twizzly Gummy and her gang run away.

They really need to add the TBD in Kingdom.

Operation: Timefixers

Croissant Cookie is the only one to actually appear again in this event.

Coffee Candy Cookie, the newest recruit at the TBD, has just lost a very important document because she fell asleep on the job. After String Gummy wakes her up, she goes to the Technology Development Division to use Croissant's Timecraft to go back in time and get the document back. Coffee Candy walks in on Croissant talking with Baguette, before asking to use her Timecraft. Croissant says she can, but Coffee Candy needs to help her refuel it first.

While refueling, Coffee Candy tells her the reason why she needs to use it, to get a document back. Croissant tells her that, while it may be the fastest and easiest way, it's also the most dangerous, and that it doesn't let you solve problems on your own. She also reveals that, on her first day at the job, she broke the central clock in the Clock Square. And then, Croissant reveals that she needs a little kiss on the forehead. Sorry, what was I talking about again? That's probably not what she revealed, oh yeah, no, she has self-esteem issues. And needs a little kiss on the forehead.

Croissant also tells of the events in Mission: Save the Future, of the ruined future from all of the employees using Time Manipulators for their own gain. Once Croissant and Coffee Candy are done refueling the timecraft, Coffee Candy decides not to use the Timecraft and instead look for the document herself.

Timekeeper is literally only mentioned in this event, and not even by name. Croissant and Maple Taffy talk about her, but that's kind of it. String Gummy mentions the Director as well, but he's clearly talking about Director Croissant and not Timekeeper. Also, Timekeeper makes Maple Taffy and Coffee Candy make some weird robot for her that's just Cosmos Gear in a weird mech. Not making that up.

Time Relic Chaos

This update was split into two different parts, so I'll be talking about each part separately. Timekeeper and Croissant actually both appear in Part 1, Relic Management Chaos.

Croissant Cookie appears as a cookie you can meet during the event with Schneeball. She comes up to Schneeball and gives her a fossil she found while time traveling, to which Schneeball takes. It turns out to be a statue from the City of Millennial. Schneeball then asks for Croissant to donate her Timecraft to the Relic Management Division, to which Croissant very obviously says no. She also states that everytime she looks at her Timecraft, it "reminds her why she's doing this", which is nice. She offers to only donate it when it actually becomes a relic, i.e, not functional.

Timekeeper appears for one second in the Relic Management Spring Cleaning extra story, one gained by doing certain STUPID, I mean, STUPID, I mean EXTRA TASKS during the event. Maple Taffy and Schneeball find a weird remote that seems similar to the TBD tech they have now, but not at the same time. They both assume it's something from the Technology Development Division, and Maple Taffy goes to put it in the unclassified items storage (but he actually just goes to put it in the vault instead because it looks important.) Before he can do that, though, Timekeeper appears out of nowhere, grabs it, and then leaves. The cutscene ends with Maple Taffy questioning why Timekeeper would need the remote for a Timecraft.

Our Special Pie Party!

Croissant and Timekeeper aren't important in the event, but they do show up. How? The event includes little cutscenes based on 42 previous Cookie Run updates, including M:STF and Operation Timeguard. As I have not gotten the STF one yet, this will only have the Timeguard one at the moment. I am going to scream.

I spend four hours trying to get this cutscene. This is actually going to kill me. I am going to die. I am dying. I am exploding. I am turning into a singularity. I am shedding tears of pure joy. They need to kiss. I need tokiss them. I am crazy. I am fuckig crzy.

It's just a little banter between the two talking about Timekeeper's duty as the Director of the TBD, but oh my god. The cute little dialogue they have together, the ending line being "I feel like I've been outmanuvered again," by Croissant. It's actually amazing. There's not any hostility between the two (which I was worrying about), despite Croissant's shock at Timekeeper never being in office, she never outright yells at her or calls her anything. They absolutely love each other. They don't need to be outright romantic to show how much they absolutely love each other.

And oh my god. I love them. I just wanna squish their cute little faces and give them a little kiss on the head. Timekeeper is so charming. Croissant is so nice. I am running out of words to say how much I love them. I love them.
